    Background

Hello and welcome. Is it hard sometimes to talk about what you’re going through? Why not try expressing yourself in a different way – through visuals, or words, or both? With art psychotherapy, you have the freedom to express yourself through a scribble, a picture, an object, or words, so that you can release and examine your emotions, thoughts, and experiences. No fancy materials or art experience needed.

Together we can work on mental health challenges including stress, anxiety, trauma, depression, grief, life changes, and issues with attachment, relationships, identity, self-esteem, purpose, and belonging. We can develop coping skills and sustainable techniques to help you thrive.

If you’re curious about art therapy, please reach out for a free 15-minute consultation or email me with any questions.

About me: I’m Patricia, an art psychotherapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, the British Association of Art Therapists and the Canadian Art Therapy Association. I am based in West London, UK, working online and in-person with adults in English, Filipino, and French. I have worked with adults and young people from different backgrounds, cultures, and across the spectrum. My approach is strengths-focused, trauma-informed, and mindfulness-based. I offer a warm, non-judgmental, and supportive space to heal and grow.

Before becoming an art psychotherapist, I worked 20+ years in advertising, taught yoga, volunteered in various organisations, and lived in multiple countries and cultures. I am a self-taught artist who, in hard times, found solace and transformation through art. I'm looking forward to meeting you.
