Hello, and thank you for visiting.
My name is Belén Plaza Higueras, and I have always felt a deep calling to support others in their emotional and psychological healing. This passion has guided my whole life—personally and professionally—and led me to explore and study many different approaches to therapy, healing, and human transformation.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to understanding how people heal, how they recover, and how they reconnect with their sense of self after pain or adversity. I hold a Degree in Psychology and Advanced Studies in Psychological Research, along with postgraduate training in Clinical Health Psychology with a CBT focus, Dance Movement Psychotherapy, and Integrative Bodywork. But beyond formal education, I’ve always sought wisdom in the world around me.
I’ve travelled through different cultures—including Spain, the UK, and India—learning from diverse ways of healing. My intention is always to learn from the most impactful approaches and bring them into my work in a way that is meaningful, respectful, and centred on what each person truly needs.
I believe every individual has the potential to heal. Even if life cannot always be made longer, it can be made wider—fuller—through awareness, compassion, and the right kind of support. When we work together, I offer a space of care, presence, and encouragement. We don’t need to have all the answers. We just begin where you are.
Throughout my career, I’ve supported people in many settings: schools, community organisations, families, and private practice. I work with children, teenagers, and adults from all walks of life, including those navigating anxiety, trauma, loss, identity questions, or neurodivergence. In every setting, I’ve seen how powerful therapy can be—how even small shifts can bring new hope, strength, and direction.
My approach is integrative and trauma-informed. Sometimes we talk, other times we use movement, breath, creativity, or grounding techniques—whatever helps you express and understand what you’re going through. I work in both English and Spanish, and sessions are available in person or online.
People often tell me that I bring warmth, calm, and authenticity to our sessions. My gift, I believe, is resilience and positivity—and a genuine desire to walk alongside others with care and curiosity. My work is not only my profession—it is my purpose.
If you're thinking about therapy, please know you are welcome just as you are. I'm here to hold space for your healing and your journey, with kindness and commitment.
