    Background

Hi, my name is Claire, I am an Integrative Counsellor with over 4 years experience trained in a number of therapeutic approaches which enables me to use a variety of approaches that can be tailored to your needs.

I have experience of working with a range of issues such as Loss and Grief, Trauma, Domestic and Sexual Abuse, Shame and Guilt, Stress, Anxiety and Depression,  Intimacy related issues, Motivation, Self esteem, & Confidence. I will work with whatever the client wishes to bring to the counselling session, working at your pace.

Looking for a therapist can be a big step. Lots to understand and navigate. Making the decision to seek therapy is the first step to making positive change.

Empathy, acceptance and honesty are at the core of my practice. I bring a warmth to the counselling room which allows my clients a safe place to explore whatever they bring. I believe that in viewing each person as an individual, where, through active listening, healing can occur. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you.
