Emotionally unstable personality disorder test
Here you can do a self-test to help you reflect on personality traits that may be associated with emotionally unstable personality syndrome (EIPS).
This self-test is designed as a self-assessment tool to help you reflect on personality traits that may be associated with EIPS. It is inspired by diagnostic criteria for the syndrome and can give a first indication of whether you have signs of EIPS. Please note that this test is not intended to make a diagnosis, but rather to give an indication of whether certain tendencies are present.

Emotionally unstable personality syndrome (EIPS), also known as borderline personality disorder (BPD), is a condition characterised by strong emotional swings, impulsive behaviours, unstable relationships and an insecure self-image. Individuals with EIPS may experience intense emotions that rapidly shift between anxiety, anger and depression. Many struggle with a strong fear of abandonment and may have difficulty managing emotions.
What should I do if I have symptoms of eips?
If the results raise questions and your symptoms affect your functioning in areas such as work and relationships, it is recommended that you seek professional help for a more comprehensive evaluation. A psychologist or psychiatrist with experience in personality disorders can conduct a personality assessment that may lead to a diagnosis. It is possible to feel better and overcome symptoms of eips.
