Ptsd test
If you have experienced trauma, you may develop post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). You can take a test to see if you have symptoms and get guidance on how to get help and support.
Meet our therapists
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) can develop after experiencing or witnessing a traumatic event. This can be an accident, abuse, violence, war, natural disasters or other frightening events. PTSD can affect everyday life through strong memories, anxiety, difficulty sleeping and avoidance behaviours. Not everyone who experiences trauma develops PTSD, but if the symptoms last for more than a month and are affecting your life, you may want to seek support.
This test is modelled on the DSM diagnostic criteria and can give an initial indication of whether you have signs of PTSD. It is not a substitute for a professional diagnosis, but can help you understand your experiences better. Tests take around 5 minutes to complete.
