    Background

Hi, I’m Eva — an integrative therapist with a background in psychology, special education, and trauma-informed practice.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent over two decades supporting children, families, and carers in education and social care. Much of my work focused on people navigating disability, trauma, or complex life transitions — experiences that now deeply shape the way I show up in therapy: with empathy, honesty, and a belief in each person’s ability to grow.

I use a blend of humanistic, psychodynamic, and CBT approaches to support adults and young people with anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, and low self-esteem.

My sessions are collaborative and down-to-earth — a space where you can feel heard, respected, and supported at your own pace. I offer therapy online and in person (in the Finchley and Golders Green area of London), and I warmly welcome clients from all backgrounds and walks of life.

    How I Work

I aim to create a space where you feel emotionally safe, supported, and never rushed. I see therapy as a collaborative process — I bring clinical experience and insight, and you bring your lived experience, values, and hopes. Together, we explore what’s holding you back and what feels meaningful to you right now. Some people come to therapy knowing exactly what they want to work on; others feel stuck or overwhelmed but aren’t sure why. Both are welcome. I adapt the pace and focus of our sessions to fit you, whether you’re seeking short-term support around a specific issue or longer-term exploration.

    My Approach

I work integratively, which means I draw from different therapeutic models to suit your needs — including humanistic, psychodynamic, and CBT approaches. This allows us to explore both what’s happening in the present and where patterns may have originated. My work is informed by trauma theory and attachment, and I pay close attention to the emotional safety of the space we create together. I hold the therapeutic relationship with care, and I believe in the healing power of being seen and heard without judgement. Above all, I approach each client as a whole person — not a problem to be fixed.

Working with Carers, Neurodivergence, and Parenting

A significant part of my work is supporting people who care for others — whether as parents, partners, or in professional roles. I understand how emotionally and physically draining caregiving can be, and how easy it is to lose sight of your own needs in the process. I also have experience working with neurodivergent clients and families, and I aim to provide a respectful, affirming space that recognises the uniqueness of each individual. If you’re navigating parenting challenges, burnout, or the emotional weight of holding everything together for someone else, you’re not alone. Therapy can be a place to pause, process, and reconnect with yourself.
