Background

I’m a Humanistic psychotherapist and life coach. I work with adults (18+). This might be a time when you’re going through life’s ups and downs, or personal challenges. You could be feeling that something is stuck or missing, or that things could be better. Or maybe you want to explore and reflect on experiences or aspects of your life. Know that I understand those experiences deeply, and I can relate to the feelings of being stuck or in search of something more fulfilling. Therapy provides that unique space, focusing entirely on you, your growth, your well-being, and your journey.
I have experience working in the public sector and at community level with people facing a wide range of challenges including overall mental health concerns, anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, significant events, family or work conflicts, grief and loss, pregnancy and parenting challenges, self-esteem, self-confidence, and stressors related to neurodiversity.
The therapeutic approach I practice is rooted in Humanistic psychology, which in a nutshell means that I value and respect your unique circumstances and that I am ready to be real and connect with you, human to human. I offer a holistic approach that considers the connection between mind and body, and I will encourage you to explore your emotions, as well as your thoughts, beliefs, and behaviours. And to learn about yourself, and to make your own decisions.
My cultural background is Spanish. I worked internationally as a software engineer for more than a decade before I found the courage to embark on my own self-development journey, becoming a coach and then a psychotherapist. I have studied, worked and lived in the nordics before settling in the UK.
I welcome all cultural backgrounds into my therapeutic space. Acknowledging our differences and similarities, and those of the mainstream culture that we are part of, might prove helpful during our work together.

My advice

I aim at building a trusting and respectful relationship that helps you achieve the results you desire, whether they’re specific goals or more general improvements in your life. Many people find that therapy is a stepping stone to new discoveries or personal growth. By reflecting on your life experiences, you will learn from the past, accept current challenges, and move forward with intention and compassion. At the right pace for you.

I believe that the more you know yourself, the more you trust yourself
