Reza Hanifi

I am a licensed psychologist with a focus on CBT and believe that the alliance between client and therapist is the basis for positive change and optimal results.

I was born in Iran in the early 70s. At the end of 97 I came to Sweden as an asylum seeker. I studied Komvux and then the psychology programme at Stockholm University. I have extensive experience of working with family therapy, couples therapy, child and adolescent psychiatry, adult psychiatry, primary care and neuropsychiatric assessments ADHD/ADD, Autism and IF.

I have also worked as a school psychologist, supervisor and trainer. I specialise in CBT with children and adolescents, suicide prevention, ACT and DBT.

We will explore and identify the problem area together. The treatment will be individually tailored to your current life situation, mental health, upbringing culture and resources. You will be active in your treatment and we will make joint evaluations during the course of the treatment.

I can offer counselling in Swedish, English, Persian and Dari.

I offer individual psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults, as well as couple therapy and family therapy at the clinic in central Stockholm or via video.
