Now, we call ourselves Lavendlas.

2018 Academy was founded

The Lavendla Academy was founded. Through Academy, we educate the counsellors of the future. We aim high, to be able to offer the best possible service and expertise in the market.

2016We are growing rapidly

Lavendla is growing rapidly and is now represented throughout Sweden. We have reached 200 reviews on Trustpilot with an average rating of 9.2 out of 10.

We were convinced that the advisor’s individual and personal brand, is more important than the company brand for our clients. We therefore worked hard to present our dedicated advisors in the best possible way.

2014Lavendla was founded

Lavendla was founded by a young Jakob Nordstrom in Stockholm, Sweden. Jakob was convinced that the traditional industry needed to adapt to the new reality of digital habits and user-friendly tools.

The vision was, and still is, to Make the difficult easier. Even today, Jakob is the CEO of the company, working hard to exceed customers’ expectations every day.

Therapy, guided by expertise and heart

At Lavendla Therapy, we are driven by a profound purpose: to support individuals in navigating life’s most challenging moments with care, expertise, and understanding. To ensure we deliver the highest standard of service, we carefully recruit counsellors who embody not only exceptional qualifications but also a shared commitment to our core values: sensitivity, courage, and drive.

Our team of therapists includes accredited professionals, recognized by leading organizations such as the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). Each counsellor brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise from various therapeutic disciplines, allowing us to offer tailored support for a wide range of needs, whether it is grief counselling, stress management, or relationship challenges.

But great professional expertise is not enough. At Lavendla Therapy, we look for more than professionalism and references. We look for people with a genuine passion for helping others, a deep sense of empathy and a commitment to service. All therapists are carefully selected for their qualifications and ability to connect with clients on a profoundly human level, creating a safe and trusting relationship where healing can begin.

Our counsellors reflect the values that guide everything we do. With sensitivity, we approach each client’s story with compassion and respect. With courage, we tackle even the most complex challenges, supporting clients as they take the first steps toward change. And with drive, we work tirelessly to help every individual find clarity, strength, and hope for the future.

At Lavendla Therapy, we believe that therapy should feel personal, accessible, and transformative. Whether you reach out to us online or in person, we are here to listen, support, and guide you every step of the way.
